Pheo-Para Alliance and Katzen Arts Center Annual Washington DC Dinner
I have the privilege to participate in a lively and informative panel discussion, “The Healing Arts,” moderated by Dr. Fred Ognibene of NIH and we will be joined by Jerzy Sapieyevski, Pianist and Composer; Shanti Norris, Executive Director of the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts; and Tim Tate, Artist and Co-Founder of the Washington Glass Studio.The gathering will benefit the research for Pheochromocytoma–Paraganglioma. Pheo–Para are rare tumors, originating in and around the adrenal glands. Because of the rarity of this diagnosis, there is insufficient research in this field.
The evening will also include an exhibit of the works of prominent Washington artists.
