Kalman Aron
Kalman Aron born September 14, 1924 in Riga, Latvia. Attended art schools in Europe on full scholarships. First commissioned portrait at the age of 13 of Karlis Ulmanis, Prime Minister of Latvia, for which scholarship to the Academy of Fine Arts was granted. Entered the United States in 1949 and was naturalized in 1955. Since entering the United States he has been active in the Los Angeles as a professional artist, portraitist and teacher of art. Reside in Los Angeles with works represented in many collections throughout the United States and Europe.
